Mark your calendars, Class of 2027! Our school is proud to announce the Half Cap Ceremony 2025, a special event recognizing students' achievements as they progress towards graduation.
The ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the VPP Main Gym. If you are eligible for half cap, please report to Vista PEAK Prep at 5pm on April 24th.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Half Cap Ceremony, students must meet specific credit requirements by the end of Quarter 3. These requirements include:
- Language Arts - 1.75 credits
- Mathematics - 1.75 credits
- Science - 1.75 credits
- Social Science - 1.00 credit
- US History - 0.75 credit
- Or CE US History - 0.50 credit and passing 2nd semester
- World Language
- 1.75 credits (if in 2nd year of World Language)
- 0.75 credit (if in 1st year of World Language)
- Electives - 2.75 or more credits

Here's the timeline for the Half Cap Ceremony eligibility:
- March 6: End of Quarter 3 Grades/Credit Recovery Deadline
- April 1: Counselor Eligibility Check
- April 4: Notifications of eligibility sent out with RSVP form
- April 18: Ceremony Rehearsal during Advisory
