Vista Peak Preparatory Counseling Structure

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to share an important update regarding our School Counseling program at Vista Peak Preparatory for the 2025--2026 school year. To better support our students and enhance their access to counseling services, we are adjusting School Counselor caseloads.

Starting next school year, each School Counselor will focus on two specific grade levels, allowing for more intentional and personalized support. Vista Peak Preparatory will have a total of eight School Counselors. They will be organized into two teams:

  • One team will serve students in 9th and 11th grades
  • The other team will serve students in 10th and 12th grades

Within each team, counselors will be assigned to an alphabetical (alpha) group of students. Counselors will continue working with their assigned alpha group throughout the students' high school experience, providing continuity and building strong, supportive relationships.

We believe this structure will strengthen our ability to meet student needs and further our commitment to their academic, social, and emotional success.

Here is what each School Counselor's caseload will look like during the 2025-2026 school year.
