NWEA MAPS is a personalized assessment tailored to each individual student’s learning level. MAPS (Measures of Academic Progress) was developed by the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) to precisely measure student progress and growth over time.
While this test has been around for some time now, this is Vista PEAK Preparatory’s first year administering this specific exam. We will be using it to track individual student progress starting in the 9th grade. It can be administered in an easy, quick online format multiple times throughout the year to show more data points.
We will be administering our first round of MAPS to all 9th grade students on November 28, 2016.
