CMAS (PARCC) are state mandated tests that are required through legislation. There are two parts; CMAS (Colorado Measure of Academic Success) which is a collection of standardized tests around Science and Social Studies, and PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Career) which is a collection of standardized tests around Language Arts and Mathematics. PARCC is considered to fall under the umbrella of CMAS, and is often referred to as CMAS as well. CMAS (PARCC) are administered in every school in Colorado to hold schools accountable for the academic achievements of their students. The goal of CMAS (PARCC) is to ensure that students are on the correct path to reach secondary education or enter the workforce with knowledge that is deemed necessary.  At the high school level, only 9th grade students participate in PARCC, and only 11th grade students participate in CMAS.

Vista PEAK Preparatory will be conducting PARCC testing for all 9th grade students from March 13, 2017-March 22, 2017.

CMAS testing for all 11th grade students will take place from April 12, 2017-April 19, 2017.
