The CMAS is a state mandated test that is required through legislation. CMAS (Colorado Measure of Academic Success) is a collection of standardized tests around Science and Social Studies. CMAS is administered in every school in Colorado to hold schools accountable for the academic achievements of their students. The goal of CMAS is to ensure that students are on the correct path to reach secondary education or enter the workforce with knowledge that is deemed necessary. At the high school level, only 11th grade students participate in CMAS.
