Federico Gomez

FedericoGomezHola!, my name is Federico Gomez.  I grew in Mexico and moved to Colorado about a decade ago.  I am myself a product of APS because the education and the teachers I had influence and have been part of who I am today as a person.

I attended Aurora Central High School for 4 years and then headed out to the University of Colorado at Boulder to study Spanish and Mathematics.  I recently graduated from CU-Boulder.  This is my first year working in APS and I am really excited to get back to my community in every way possible.  I love to be around students because I want to be a role model for them and help them become better citizens and to never stop moving until they reach a brighter future.

When I am not teaching or in the classroom, you will find me running around the city and at local gyms or playing soccer.  I am now coaching the freshman soccer team this year.  I love to spend time with my family and my fiancé (soon to be wife) at the mountains, obstacle races, or anything physical.  Stop by my room to say hi and we can chat (in Spanish if you would like), and anything I can help you with just let me know.  Oh and one more thing I love boxing, let’s go Canelo Alvarez!!!
