My name is Mark Kimball. I graduated from Washington and Lee University with a Bachelors in Economics in 2011 and after completing the teacher education program. After college, I spent a year teaching ESL in Gwangju, South Korea before coming back to the United States. I ended up substitute teaching in California (near Bakersfield) until I decided to move to Colorado to pursue my Masters. I went through the Boettcher Teacher’s Residency and received my Masters in Education with a focus on Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education back in 2015 from Adams State University.
This will be my third year teaching at Vista Peak Preparatory and I can’t wait to dive in. This year I will be teaching Economics and coaching the Speech and Debate Team.
