Robert Hultman

My name is Robert James Hultman.  I was named after my grandfathers after being born (and subsequently raised) in the Mile High City.  I have spent the past four years teaching Literacy / English in Aurora Public Schools, most recently at APS Online high school (where I will still spend half my time as a teacher).  I began my career in the Bison family teaching at the Exploratory and am happy to again be a part of Vista PEAK and all that the team has to offer.  I graduated from Metropolitan University of Denver in 2012 and have experience in everything outside of teaching from automotive technology, to music, to gas station management.  My wife and two young offspring think I’m pretty great, though others’ opinions may differ.  I like to draw and paint or look at work of people who have more talent than I.  I love music and I usually have a Playstation controller in hand during my free time.  I enjoy reading and writing and have an interest in language.  I believe that the ability to read and write well are paramount to any successful future.  I once thought school wasn’t that great, but if I can get over myself and learn the value of education, my students can too!
