Lindsay Tabaka

I am a California native who went to junior and senior high school in Cincinnati, Ohio. After high school, I completed my Bachelors in English/ Language Arts and my Masters in Teaching at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. As soon as I finished my Masters in 2009, I moved out here to this wonderful state! I was hired at Aurora Central High School that year teaching 9th Grade Literacy and English Language Development.

The following year I was brought onto the team committed to creating a school named Vista PEAK! Having taught at Vista PEAK since it’s very beginning, I am committed to the school’s progressive education, focus on individualized success for all students, and overall excellence. I have taught 9th Grade Literacy, 10th Grade Literacy, and Creative Writing.

This year I am taking on a new role as ELA Coordinator and Teacher Leader in addition to teaching ELD 3 and 10th Grade ELD English. I love Vista PEAK and look forward to an awesome year!
