Lisa Skoglund

I graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2002 with a BAA in Teaching Social Studies, and have completed graduate level coursework in LD/EBD Special Education. Following college, I worked as substitute teacher and with youth for faith-based, non-profit organizations. Over Memorial Day weekend 2011, I moved with my husband of 10 years from Minnesota to Colorado after he accepted a position with the Colorado National Guard at Buckley AFB in Aurora. I spent a year focusing on continuing education, and completing the application for my Colorado teaching license, in addition to working with a Denver-based mentoring program. In 2012, I accepted a position in Restorative Practices at Vista Peak Prep. In 2013, I added teaching Freshman Seminar to my repertoire, and I’m loving it!
